Genesis of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Koraput

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Koraput has been a beacon of education and excellence since its establishment in 1979, starting its journey with classes from I to V. Over the years, it has evolved into a full-fledged institution providing quality education while nurturing the holistic development of its students.

The Vidyalaya building is strategically located on SLN Medical College Road, Koraput, making it easily accessible to students and parents alike. Situated approximately 2 kilometers from Koraput Railway Station, it offers a convenient location for families across the region.

Presently, PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Koraput is a two-section school, accommodating students across various classes. The school stands as a testament to Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan’s mission of fostering academic excellence while instilling core values of discipline, responsibility, and community spirit among students.
